Private Group Ceramic Carved Animal Mugs
Hosted by Akela Hudson
📍 4421 24th St, Sacramento, CA 95822
Over the years, I’ve created pieces using a sgraffito technique: carving/scratching/etching into leather-hard clay with either a colored slip or underglaze to create a design. It feels similar to block printing, which I did for many years before working with clay. I want to share the techniques and knowledge I’ve collected over the years so you can create a design set in stone forever.
The class is 2 hours long, and it includes a pre-thrown mug. I also provide all necessary tools and guidance. No experience is needed; you can use one of my designs or create your own.
Warm tea, calm music, and the meditative rhythm of working with clay make this a lovely seasonal ritual to gift yourself or a loved one. Create with the people who you love!
I'll email you once your order is confirmed to set up a date and time for the workshop.
✨ $77 each for Groups of 2 - $154
✨ $75 each for Groups of 4 - $300
✨ $70 each for Groups of 6 - $420
✨ $68 each for Groups of 8 - $550
No experience necessary | All materials included
